Training & Competency Policy

At South Leo Packers and Movers, we believe that our people are the foundation of our service quality and customer satisfaction. Our Training & Competency Policy ensures that all employees, contractors, and associates possess the knowledge, skills, and professionalism required to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant relocation services.

Policy Objective

The primary objective of this policy is to develop and maintain a competent, safety-conscious, and customer-oriented workforce. All personnel are trained to perform their duties effectively while complying with internal standards, ISO requirements, and applicable legal and transport regulations.

Induction & Orientation Program

All new employees undergo a structured Induction Program covering company policies, operational procedures, code of conduct, and safety standards. Orientation sessions include familiarization with packing materials, vehicle handling, customer interaction protocols, and document management processes.

Skill Development & Technical Training

Regular training sessions are conducted to enhance staff expertise in packing techniques, loading/unloading methods, and equipment handling. Specialized modules are designed for drivers, packers, and supervisors to ensure proficiency in GPS-enabled transport systems, safety compliance, and customer communication.

Safety & Compliance Awareness

Safety is a key component of every training module. Employees receive guidance on accident prevention, personal protective equipment (PPE) use, fire safety, first aid, and emergency response. Regular compliance workshops ensure adherence to legal requirements, insurance procedures, and client confidentiality protocols.

Evaluation & Certification Process

All training programs include post-training evaluations to assess knowledge retention and skill application. Successful participants receive competency certifications approved by our Quality Department. Non-performing employees are provided with retraining until satisfactory performance is achieved.

Continuous Improvement & Review

The training policy is reviewed annually to incorporate feedback, technological changes, and customer requirements. Training content is updated in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards and best industry practices. Supervisors and trainers are encouraged to report performance data and recommend new skill development areas.
